The "News of the Week" from the school newspaper O Catarino highlight various activities and events at the Santa Catarina School Group. 

Fourth-year students visited the Assembly of the Republic, while others participated in experimental science activities and the "Neighborhood Museum" exhibition. 

The library has been promoting peace through art and literature, and International Mother Language Day was celebrated with the sharing of words in different languages. 

Students who won a quiz on politics were rewarded with a trip to the European Parliament in Brussels. 

Additionally, the school newspaper has become a member of The Journalism Education Association, demonstrating a commitment to quality school journalism.
