The school newspaper "O Catarino" highlights various activities and recent achievements in the schools of the Santa Catarina School Group. 

Three student-athletes qualified for the Junior European Cup in triathlon, while others took part in the fun Carnival Olympics. 

Students of Portuguese as a Non-Native Language explored the school garden, inspiring creative writing. 

The Amélia Rey Colaço Basic and Secondary School organized its 5th Geography Meeting and participated in the Young Parish Assembly project. 

Additionally, the school received the Healthy School Seal, and a survey revealed that most visitors consider school schedules to be overloaded. 

Other initiatives, such as a theatrical presentation about Camões and a "Mathematical Circus," also took place.
