The school newspaper "O Catarino" of the Santa Catarina School Group highlights various activities and recent achievements of the school community. 

Among the highlights are the renewal of the Green Flag Eco-Schools certification, the launch of a weekly audio summary, and a daily news podcast. 

The newspaper also celebrated its membership in the National Scholastic Press Association. 

Additionally, it reports on a field trip by 7th-grade students to the river, poetic illustration activities in the library, the achievement of swimming medals, and a 10th-grade field trip to the beach for environmental studies. 

Finally, the newspaper covered the awarding of prizes for math competitions and presented the results of a survey on the use of school uniforms in Portugal.
