The school newspaper O Catarino highlights various recent activities and achievements within the Santa Catarina School Group. 

The news includes a student qualifying for the national acrobatic gymnastics championship and a former pupil being selected for the European futsal championship. 

Reports also cover school trips to the Aljube Museum and Quake, as well as the success of students who are national athletics champions. 

The newspaper also features information on talks about COVID-19 and HPV, initiatives by the English club, a theatre performance involving PLNM students, and a visit from a researcher to a science lesson. 

Finally, it presents a survey in which the majority of respondents express opposition to the privatisation of public schools.
